Sam Baardman is a photographer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, specializing in portraiture, landscape and performing arts photography. His work was featured in the October, 2008 issue of Black & White magazine, a publication devoted to collectors of fine art photography.
A major emphasis of Sam's fine art photography is the River on the Run Project, an ongoing collaboration with three other artists in response to the degradation of the Lake Winnipeg watershed. His work in the group includes both landscape and conceptual photography as well as music and video.
As a portraitist and performing arts photographer, Sam has worked with many of Winnipeg’s arts elite including authors, dancers and musicians. His style is rich and intimate, and he is equally adept both on location and in the studio.
